Allure of the Seas
June 2011
The Ship
The world's largest cruise ship was the
scene of the Levy-Solomons summer vacation. Everything about this ship is
big, from its size (230,000 tons, 9,000 passengers and crew) to its cost (1.5
Billion dollars). There are activities for every age and interest, and
there are so many restaurants that you would need a three week cruise to try
them all.
The Gang
Pat and Lew were joined by Margaret and Mark
, Monica and Mike, and Johnny and Katie for an ocean adventure. The
pictures below show the Levy-Solomons clan enjoying the diverse entertainment
options on the Allure. You may notice that we seem to be eating a lot.
The Islands
Our cruise visited three ports in the Eastern Caribbean -
Nassau, St. Thomas, and St. Martin. These islands are hard to tell
apart. St. Martin would have the most appeal, but not by much. You
can tell you are in St. Martin because the tee shirts for sale on the pier are
in French and Dutch.
